I took the opportunity to visit Mark Howard who was part of the international police force stationed in the country. We dined with a family in Prijedor, in the territority called the Srpska Republic, who during the war in the 1990's had had no electricity for 4 years and no running water for 2 years. Alone, I explored Sarejavo and Mostar. Mark, Lorraine & I then went for a real holiday in Slovenia via a lift in a UN vehicle.
