3 10/12/2002 Tewa reef, Watamu, Kenya 14 47 PADI Open Water No.2. Vis. ~8m. Boat dive. Nudibrancs. Partial & complete mask clearance, cramp removal, snorkel / reg exchnage, tired diver recovery, regulator recovery, fin pivot, AAS use & ascent, buoyancy check.

Canyon, Watamu, Kenya 18 36 PADI Open Water No.3. Vis. ~15m. Boat dive. Shoals yellow snappers. C.E.S.A., clear full mask, fin pivot, oral inflation.
5 Moray Place, Watamu, Kenya 18 37 PADI Open Water No.4. Vis. ~15m. Boat dive. Touched Giant white moray eel, white mouthed moray eel. Remove & clear mask, free descent no belt, remove / put on scuba set on surface, buoyancy, compass, remove / put on weight.
6 15/01/2003 Kande Island, Lake Malawi, Malawi 11 58 Aquanuts Fresh water and altitude dive. Entry from dinghy. Various cichlids.

Shore entry. Kelp forest, through tunnel. Visibility ~5m. Difficulty to equalise due to hood. Temp ~20C. Unpleasant dive.

Mill pond conditions. Problems with my mask leaking. Visibility ~15m due to coral spawning. Sea temp ~26C.

13 Steve's Bommie, No.3 Ribbon reef 19.6 16 Cicumnavigated bommie from bottom up in spiral, mask continually flooded so surfaced leaving Lorraine. Diagnosed mask too high, need space below nose.

15 Clam Gardens, No.5 Ribbon reef 9.6 44 Advanced dive - Naturalist. Beautiful large clams, stag horn coral.
16 Tower of Tomoko, No.8 Ribbon reef 19.4 32 Wall at 19-15m, 2nd crevis into and return on top. Large schools yellow tailed fusilier.
17 Challenger bay, No.10 Ribbon reef 10.7 43 Advanced Dive - Night. Best dive so far. Big eye trevally kept company. Lion fish, epaulette shark, white tip reef shark, cuttlefish, red bass, barrimundi cod, leapard sea cucumber on tail spawning.
18 12/12/2003 Pixie Pinnacle, No. 10 Ribbon reef 16.4 42 Anticlockwise spiral up pinnacle. Purple & orange anthias, flame file shell. Shoals of barracuda and humbugs. Damsels, sergeant majors.
19 The Monolith, No. 10 Ribbon reef 19.7 43 Advanced dive - Navigation. Did square route and 55 secs / 25m & 30 kicks / 25m. Surgeon fish. dorid nudibranc
20 Cod Hole, No. 10 Ribbon reef 16.7 38 Friendly Potatoe cod also maori wrasse, white tip shark, smooth flutemouth.
21 10.5 39 Curent increased so quite hard work, Box fish. Snorkelled 25m to boat to ensure >50bar.
22 21/12/2003 SS Yongala, near Townsville, Australia 23.9 36 Adrenalin Dive Circuit of wreck, mast, cargo holds clearly visible. Very dense shoals of fish and fish larger than other sites. Trevally enormous. Snakes (that are poisonous) and bat fish.
23 22.6 37 Calm conditions, sea temp 30C visibility 10m, current developed from stern to bow. Guitar shark (shufflenose ray).
24 20/08/2005 Bokissa North reef, Vanuatu 17 50 Bokissa Island Dive Boat dive. Sunny & calm. 12lbs weight. Sea 27C visibility 15m. Anne buddy. Explore length of reef near shore. Boat met at end. Good buoyancy except 2 sharp rises that recovered from. Saw Wahoo, flute, anemonefish. Good fan & brain corals.
25 12/08/2006 Seals, Jervis Bay, Australia 19 14 Abyss Diving Boat dive. Sunny but choppy since near cliffs. Close encounter with several seals.; very freindly Excellent visibility. 16C. Waiting at anchor & clearing mask used much air. Anne aborted dive since not equalize.
26 12/08/2006 The Wall, Bowen Island, Australia 14.5 28 Abyss Diving Boat Dive. Traversed wall off island. 15C. Sunny & calm. Hood and cold make equalizing difficult but OK. Watched turtle for couple of minutes. Weedy Sea Dragons and several Port Jackson sharks.
27 02/09/2008 Dili Rock, Dili, East Timor 14 32 Dive Timor Lorosae Shore Dive. Trouble equalizing. 1 to 1 with Nicole who ran through refresher tests. Next dive could not equalise thus cancelled planned dives in east Timor.
