On the Balkan Cycle Tour we crossed over from North Macedonia into Kosovo. No! It is Kosova! The border guard was very clear on this; it is the Albanian pronounciation. Through out our stay we saw many monuments to those who died in 1999 to keep Kosovo independent. We enjoyed the cheapest country in Europe and then crosssed over to Montenegro.
