Entered the once closed country and everyone was most welcoming. Recovered from the long budget flight in Shkoder which I found charming and cycle friendly. I then hiked the spetacular Accursed mountains. Then bused it to Tirana to meet up with Fern & Braz for the Balkan Cycle Tour. This took us next to North Macedonia. The cycle tour crossed back into Albania from Montenegro for us to complete the tour in Shkoder. I then returned home via Greece.
