On crossing the border from Zimbabwe we drove north through the almost featureless landscape; we bush camped in the Kalahari under the star laden sky. The Okavango Delta is a world cut off from the motor vehicle; only from the air does one appreciate the size and abundance of life.The South-West Africa tour then continued into Namibia. We then crossed back to visit Chobe national park; this famous park is a destination for the rich & famous. It is famed for it's large herds of elephants. The South-West Africa tour then made the short step into Zimbabwe.
