Fern & I embarked on a 2 week Exodus Adventure tour which took us, by road, from the capital, Antananarivo to Tulear and then by boat to Anakao. The prime draw was lemurs and we were not disappointed having had the privalege of seeing 15 species. The disturbing aspect was many of these had a conservation status of critically endangered i.e. near extinct; the Greater Bamboo lemur pictured above is a good example. The group of 14 had a nice dynamic and the tour was most enjoyable with good food and accommodation. The madagascan landscape was an added bonus although "Tana" was not a pleasant place. Then flew on my own to Mayotte.
