The jumbo jet, my first flight in this classic aircraft (see Flight Log), took us from Turkey to Karachi. A night stop over and a flight to Quetta, Baluchistan. This was a dangerous area where travellers have vanished. Most men carried guns. The travel was tough but the sights were worth it; the Hindu Kush is outstanding. Cannabis was all over the place, in our camp site it was growing wild. From Lahore, in the Punjab, we crossed the border to India.
