Sikkim

Almost 34 years prior I had seen in the distance Mt Kanchenjunga from Darjeeling. How could I resist the Goechala Trek in Sikkim which offered the closest you can get to Mt Kanchenjunga without climbing it. It was a tough but wonderful experience shared with a group of Indians who were excellent company. 8 nights in a tent with my mate Dilip from Bangalore. Fortunately, the beautiful Mayfair Tea resort provided comfort at both the start and end of the adventure. Then off to Bhutan for a very different trekking experience.
