From Egypt Anne & I flew with the group into Addis Ababa. Our truck was awaiting. Due to not being able to travel through Sudan we had 1 month in Ethiopia and no itinerary. We made it up as we went and had great fun. The truck fell to bits; the roads were appalling; the hotels on the odd occasion we stayed in were poor and the food challenging but the sights were amazing. Lake Tana and Lalibela were fascinating. The Simien mountains are pristine. Meeting the Mursi tribes people was an unforgettable experience. We then crossed into Kenya and faced a perilous journey.
