The truck fell to bits as it negotiated the long rough road from Ethiopia to the relative saftey of Isiolo. Our armed guards watched out for bandits. We passed through the beautiful Marsabit national reserve and observed the diverse tribal dress. The group climbed Mt Kenya as I acted nurse maid to Anne; now that is love! An ambition was fulfilled by gaining my scuba diving qualification at Watamu; see Dive Log. Nairobi was a typical African capital; dangerous and depressing. On our return from Uganda we visited Lake Nakuru national park before heading off to celebrate the New Year in Tanzania.
