1st Visit

We rejoined part of the overland group on a new truck. A long bumpy drive took us from Malawi to South Luangwa national park. We really enjoyed our first night safari; saw some unusual animals such as the elephant shrew. Camping on the river shore was a bit unnerving due to the proximity of hippos. We passed through the capital Lusaka enroute to Zimbabwe.
