Denmark

1st Visit

A ferry from Germany took us to Copenhagen. The Inter Rail 1981 tour had taken us to the most northern point in the grand tour. We saw the mermaid and the palace but had little time to soak up the culture. Next the train took us to the Netherlands.

2nd Visit

Would one have imagined visiting Denmark over 40 years later with family in tow. I loved the cycle culture of Copenhagen and we had an enjoyable stay, over New Year's eve, in an apartment in the posh part of town. At the start of a new year we headed to Sweden.
