On a day trip from RAF Laarbruck,
Germany we visited Eindhoven. We looked around the
Phillips exhibition housed in a fascinating building.
Braz & I stepped off the train from
Denmark and entered the liberal Dutch capital,
Amsterdam. We wandered the streets and turned down an offer of drugs. Just to
kill us off we decided to fit another country in on our
Inter Rail 1981 tour and headed for
Luxembourg.
Jacqueline & I celebrated New Year's Eve in the
Dam, Amsterdam. Unfortunately the bitter cold constrained our enjoyment. As well
as exploring Amsterdam we drove across the long dyke protecting much of Holland
and also visited Rotterdam.
