The hectic pace of our Inter Rail 1981 tour continued with a 1 day visit to Vienna. Austria was very expensive in comparison to Hungary where we entered from. A brief wander around the city centre then an overnight train to Italy.
2nd Visit

From Germany our Inter Rail 1982 tour took us to Innsbruck. The ski jump was impressive to see. A brief visit to Salzburg and then to the 'fairy' castle of Ludwig II at Neuschwanstein; a wonderful setting. Another brief visit to Vienna and then onto Hungary.
3rd Visit

Met with Braz, Fern & Blackie at Vienna airport and our tour began. Wonderful 2 days cycling around Vienna; only brought down by England loosing in the World Cup Semi-Final. We next took a short train journey to Slovakia.
